Proverbs 29:18 - The Message If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
I’m done! That is, I’m prepared for the holiday or at least, as prepared as I’m going to be! How did I get here? I made a PLAN. As defined by Dictionary.com, it is a noun, a scheme or method of acting, doing, proceeding, making, etc. developed in advance. You must have a plan no matter what you are doing, or you will be in a state of chaos and nothing gets done. With planning there is visioning. How many times have you not had a plan and what was the end result? Planning keeps your blood pressure, anxiety and stress manageable. I’m reminded of my mother’s best friend’s mom, who would always say “worry gonna wear you out.” How true! My dear brothers and sisters, though 2020 has brought many challenges and yes, also opportunities, let us plan for a 2021 which will be full of joy, peace, happiness and abundant blessings. Let us do as this proverb put it... But when they attend to what he reveals... That is the sweet spot! 2020 slowed us down so we could pay attention to what is, what things have been, and what can be! I encourage you to make a plan which is beyond your wildest dreams. ATTEND TO WHAT GOD REVEALED! After the dream is committed to paper, make it happen! ATTEND TO WHAT GOD REVEALS! All things are possible with God so just Do the thing! As you do the thing, please bring someone along with you! We are in the season of giving and what better gift, in addition to love, than to help someone along the way…Plant the seed, then water, cultivate, nourish, and watch the growth manifest itself into something creative, innovative, and magnificent! “Have a bias toward action – let’s see something happen now. You can break that big plan into small steps and take the first step right away” – Indira Gandhi
As you know this is #StuffValSaid, but what do you say? What did God reveal to you? What is your plan? How will you develop the plan? How will you be intentional about the plan of action? Here are a few things to consider:
• Intention – be significant
• Purpose– be relevant
• Objective – be targeted
• Aim – be reaching for the stars and the moon
Ain’t No Stopping Us Now by McFadden and Whitehead…we are on the move! Be open to the possibilities, bring your best self, and have some fun along the way as your chart the course!
